For nearly 40 years, hundreds of ACS employees have called Los Angeles home and have taken tremendous pride in protecting thousands of LA homes and businesses. Every day, ACS employees on patrol and performing service and operating in our local dispatch center, are focused on giving our customers the highest level of service and protection, especially during these difficult times when we are seeing an increase of crime in our city.
ACS and Alert 360
To keep ACS at the forefront of security and technology, we merged with Alert 360 in 2022. Alert 360 is one of the largest and highest-rated security companies in America. We are very excited by the opportunity this change presents in providing a larger number of tools and resources for even better service and protection moving forward.
For ACS customers, nothing will change. We are still based in Los Angeles, and we now have a larger number of tools we can leverage to serve and protect you.
ACS Brand Refresh
To mark this exciting time, we’ve refreshed our branding to better reflect our modern company and make it more current from our roots in 1984. It is a subtle change, but one we think is cleaner and will make for better-looking protection signage around the homes and businesses we protect.
You may have also already started to see our new fleet of patrol vehicles around town or in your neighborhoods. We listened carefully to our customers and redesigned our patrol vehicles to stand out better and be more visually appealing. ACS patrol vehicles are also equipped with advanced software that enables us to track location and respond as quickly as possible. We can communicate with our patrol officers via short wave radio and mobile device when needed.
New ACS Products and Services
On the technology front, we’ve expanded our video security options to encompass a larger array of protection capabilities. Another benefit of being part of a larger company is that we now have more tools for real-time video monitoring on almost any camera 24/7 through our local, company-owned monitoring and dispatch center.
Our New Video Security Options Include:
- Video Monitoring that easily integrates with your ACS Security System.
- ACS CCTV Cameras for 24/7 surveillance and continuous HD video recording.
- Video Doorbells to monitor and protect the entrance to your home.
- ACS Video Shield for cutting-edge, proactive video monitoring by trained security experts.
- Mobile Video Monitoring deploys live monitored cameras to a business site for real-time monitoring from anywhere.
While these expanded services and innovative new products are exciting, we truly believe it is the people that make ACS great. Many of our customers have known their ACS representatives for many years or even decades, and we are beyond proud of the more than 200 ACS team members and the sense of community they help drive.

Nothing will change. But at ACS we hope you notice even better service from us going forward. We continue operating from our
facilities in Bel Air and the Valley, and the same leadership teams are handling our day-to-day operations. You may also notice the Alert 360 brand present on billing and marketing material, much like the My Alarm Center
brand was previously.
