Earlier last month, Officers Yanez and Flores engaged and assisted in the arrest of a burglary suspect. ACS received an alarm activation and within minutes, the officers arrived and observed a suspect inside. The suspect was armed with a large wrench and fled on foot when he encountered our officers outside. Fortunately, our officers were able to maintain visual observation, updating LAPD on the location of the suspect, and ensuring no residents or community members were endangered. Upon their arrival, LAPD took the suspect into custody and verified that a burglary had occurred.
